To all our Branson Face Book Friends. Things are pretty much back to normal in Branson except for the traffic and the long lines. The only thing that makes it different is the mandatory face mask in public. The guests that we talk to have said it was great at Silver Dollar City with smaller crowds. So far the Fall and Christmas seasons are on schedule so don't wait too long to make your reservations. Several years ago I began to keep a journal of all of the humorous and... silly conversations we have had with guests. I will never put a name on the conversation and if this happens to be you please don't be offended but just smile with us. You already sent us an email and said you have it. Ok then you will need to fill out the reservation form on the website. I couldn't find anyplace to do that on the website. Are you on the www.bransonweekend.com right now? Yes but there isn't anyplace to make a reservation. Make sure you are on the homepage and there is a green tab that goes all the way across the page that says "Click here to make a Reservation". I did that but there is no place to make a reservation. When you click on that what do you see? It just has a place to put your name, address, phone number, email, and the days we are wanting. Ok that would be the reservation form we need. Just fill it out and we can take it from there. Seriously???

What is the scenery like in Branson this time of year. I said exactly what do you mean? She said are the trees still pretty and are there still green leaves on the trees? We were hoping it would be really nice there this time of year. I said I see you have a 918 area code. Are you from the Tulsa area? She said yes I am from Tulsa. I said this is winter time in Branson just like it is in Tulsa and the trees will look just like they do in Tulsa this time of year. She said OH. I thought maybe Branson was far enough South that it still be Fall there. NOPE!! What else could I say???

When we are in Branson we eat at least one dinner at Paradise steakhouse across the street from the Pierce Arrow Theatre. Ask for Pam.... she will take good care of you.

I will never put a name on the conversation and if this happens to be you please don't be offended but just smile with us. W...hen this crisis is over we will still be here for a great place to stay in Branson. Almost all of the Branson area businesses and attractions except for Silver Dollar City will be open after June 6 Larry Phone call in February: The electricity is off and we just bought $150 of food. I want to know when it will be back on. I AM SORRY BUT I CANNOT TELL YOU WHEN IT WILL BE BACK ON. HOPEFULLY IT WON'T BE TOO LONG. We paid for 3 nights and we can't stay here if we don't have electricity. What are you going to do about that. I AM SURE IT WILL COME BACK ON BUT I CAN'T TELL YOU WHEN. I WILL GIVE YOU A FULL REFUND IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. We like this cabin and don't want to go anywhere else. Are you going to pay for our food if it spoils? What are you going to do about that? AS I SAID I WILL GIVE YOU A REFUND IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE BUT I DON'T THINK I WILL BE PAYING FOR YOU FOOD. IF IT IS THAT COLD YOU COULD SET IT OUTSIDE ON THE DECK AND IT SHOULD BE FINE. Well I want to know what you are going to do about this. My kids are really getting cold. and I want to know what you are going to do about our food. I TOLD YOU WHERE YOU THERE IS WOOD FOR THE FIREPLACE BEHIND THE CABIN AND YOU CAN USE AS MUCH AS YOU WANT. I THINK YOUR FOOD WILL BE FINE BUT IF IT DOES SPOIL I REALLY DON'T PLAN ON PAYING FOR IT. I THINK IT WOULD BE BEST FOR YOU TO LEAVE AND I WILL SEND YOU A FULL REFUND. BY THIS TIME I WAS REALLY WANTING HIM TO LEAVE BUT I JUST COULDN'T CONVICE HIM TO. I guess we will stay but I want to know what you are planning on doing about this. I must have heard "what are you going to do about this" at least 50 times. This went on for about 15 minutes with 3 other phone calls from this guy. Round and Round and Round and Round and Round with no progress. Power came back on in about 6 hours and I never heard anymore from him.
