Mountain View, MO City Pool

We will need to hire a few lifeguards for the 2021 season..... You make pick up an application at city hall. They must be returned to city hall by the close of business on Thursday, March 25th. Late applications will not be considered. The only openings we have are for lifeguards so please don't ask about or apply for any other positions at the pool.

LONG POST!! Please read to the end..... and share share share!!! First I want to thank my aerobics ladies that came to the meeting to offer support and input. I appreciate all your help!! Love you guys!!! Okay pool peeps I need your help!! We are applying for a 50/50 grant for pool renovations..... if we get it it will be awards in November so looking at having the pool revamped for the summer of 2022. We are looking at approximately $500,000 in repairs more of less. This inc...ludes..... new pool liner (so I'm not losing thousands of gallons of water a day), stainless steal gutters (no more broken pool edges and tiles), new pump house and sand filters etc (sand is suppose to be replaced every few years... filters are rusted shut so thats not an option), new ventilation for the pump house so the motor etc doesn't get so hot and overheat in the summer), liquid chlorine system installed (cut chemical cost in half), and redo the kiddie pool area by making it bigger and try either a zero entry or add a splash pad. To say I am excited is an understatement..... but here is where I need everyone's help!! There will be a 1/2 cent sales tax for park and recreation on the April ballot...... yes I know, nobody wants higher sales tax.... but bottom line is its only 1/2 cent and our pool desperately needs this so we can do our half of the grant!! Please spread the word and if you are in city limits.... please please VOTE YES!!!

Starting Saturday, August 15th the pool will start closing at 4:30 on Saturdays. Effective August 22nd the pool will only be open on the weekends.

Morning Swim Lessons are cancelled today (7/17) due to weather.

Happy Graduation Day to this amazing girl! She is so much fun to work with at the pool!! We are proud of you Kennedy!! Enjoy your day!! You've earned it!

REMEMBER pool is CLOSED Friday, June 26th!!! Swim lessons and water aerobics will still go on.

Evening swim lessons start July 13th and go thru July 24th. Ages 4 to 6 will be 5:30pm to 6:00pm and ages 7 and up are 6:00pm to 6:30pm Cost is $35. Spots are limited so all 934-6540 to get a spot.
