Dr. Joan Dudley has announced her retirement after 26 years in the Westminster Spanish department. She began her career teaching 6th grade, then taught Spanish at Central, Kirk, and Twin Oaks schools before joining the staff at WCA. She’s excited to get rid of her alarm clock and her red pens, while spending more time at the library, in the back yard, and volunteering at the Missouri Botanical Garden. ¡Felicidades Doctora! #wcastl

A special congratulations to Mr. Allen Schwamb and Mr. Han Kim - the 2021 Arlen R. Dykstra Teaching Prize recipients! . Mr. Schwamb has been at Westminster since 2004, and is currently the chair of the Performing Arts Department while teaching Music Composition, Music Theory, and Chamber and Concert choirs. His work ethic and passion combine to produce incredible results, to which anyone who has attended a Westminster concert or musical can attest. . Mr. Kim began his career... at Westminster in 2000 and has been the Director of Audio/Visual ever since. Along with overseeing A/V needs at hundreds of concerts, shows, musicals, chapels, assemblies, and events over the years, Mr. Kim also now teaches Video Storytelling and Broadcast class. Volunteer at Ditto! We have 24 slots available Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m next week.
